Best Washington DC Wedding Venues (& My Personal Favorites)

I thought I'd share some of my personal favorite Washington DC wedding venues with you! Some we have worked at, and love, and others we are dying to do a wedding there! If you are getting married at one of these venues, contact us today for special pricing! :-)

1. The Hay-Adams

The Hay-Adams is one of the most esteemed Washington DC wedding venues and hotels. It is classic DC, with the best photo spot of the White House and Monument ! The space is perfect for long dining tables, and the ceiling is begging for an install (a crime not to put one in if you are getting married there!). If you're not planning on having your reception here, consider using it as your getting ready hotel, as the accommodating staff may let you out onto that epic balcony to take pictures!

2. The Anderson House

The Anderson House is simply one of the most regal Washington DC venues! It is such a hidden gem, housed among the Embassy Row. Its garden and reflecting pool are beautiful, and combined with that magnificent ballroom it is the perfect combination for a perfect, timeless Washington DC wedding.

3. Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR)

The DAR has the most beautiful spaces, 3 total in fact. There is the gorgeous portico, with views of the Washington Monument. If you are there in the right time, cherry blossoms will be your backdrop! The stunning O'Byrne Gallery is the perfect space for up to around 110 guests to dine at two long tables. It looks amazing in the space, and don't forget to dress up the fireplace mantle. Then, a third option is the Library, which can be the perfect place for your cocktail hour or even to dine!

4. The St Regis

We are currently designing a wedding ceremony and reception in the St Regis, and it is just so amazing. The outdoor terrace is pretty much non-existent in other DC venues, so it is amazing to have this secret garden-esque space for your ceremony and/or cocktail hour. Then, the ballroom is so statuesque with its stately windows and exposed beams. Just wait to see what we have dreamed up in here!

5. The LINE DC

The LINE is one of the newest DC hotels and wedding venues to open. It is very popular, and for good reason! It is the perfect space for the little bit funky brides and grooms. There is so much character in this former church, everywhere you look, from fun wallpaper, pillow-laden steps, and neon signs. The showstopper is the rooftop, with views of DC for your ceremony and cocktail hour. Then, your reception will occur in the modern minimalist ballroom, that can really be transformed into your choosing! Keep it moody and minimal or spruce it up with bright colors!

6. Meridian House

The Meridian House is so gorgeous! We love their outdoor space, that is the perfect backdrop for your ceremony and cocktail hour! There are so many fun ways to dress the space, from bistro lighting through the trees, an elegant statement bar outside, to being pet friendly for your little pup to join you! The inside of the house is equally elegant and stunning, from the library for dining to the grand foyer for dancing.
