How much does it cost to plan a wedding in Washington, DC?
How much does it cost to plan a wedding in Washington, DC? I'm sure this is something many people are wondering! Today I am happy to provide a sample wedding budget for a Washington DC wedding. For this budget, I am working off of a $50,000 budget for 100 guests, with a venue within Washington DC. This is just a sample of what it may look like when you are planning based on general vendor costs.

Partial Wedding Planning $5,000
Total = $50,000
Now, some things were not included on this list, such as: transportation, videographer, welcome bags, calligraphy, lighting
You may find your venue rental is not $10,000, so those savings could be applied elsewhere. Examples of venues that would fit in this budget are: Carnegie Institution for Science, Hotel Monaco, Josephine Butler Parks Center, DAR, Westin Georgetown
I included partial planning from the wedding planner. This means the planner is coming on board after you have secured some primary vendors, such as the venue, photography, catering or florals. The planner will help with the rest of the vendors, the design, logistics and onsite coordination.
I hope this was helpful!
