Decatur House Wedding

J + M were originally set to be married in May 2020 at the Decatur House in Washington, DC. However, when Covid struck, they rescheduled their wedding day to October 2020. Although they had to reduce their guest count to 50 guests, that did not deter them from holding their wedding this year. The bride had a beautiful bright, cheery and pink wedding vision. Upon moving their wedding to the fall, she did consider changing the color palette, but ultimately decided to keep the original design--because why not! It's what she loved, and the season should not dictate the color palette. We were delighted to work with the bride and her mother over the past year and a half to plan (and re-plan!) J + M's perfect wedding day.
