The Maryland Eastern Shore is such an amazing place to get married! If you dream of a waterfront tented wedding, then the Eastern Shore is perfect for your wedding. We have compiled some of our favorite tented venues along the water--take a look below!
Grace & Ardor Photography
Kirkland Manor is a private manor along the Miles River, 10 minutes away from downtown St. Michaels. You can host around 20 guests for your wedding weekend onsite in the manor, and there are several hotel options 10-15 minutes away. The ceremony and cocktail hour have the Miles River as your backdrop and then your reception tent is situated right off to the side, with the water and manor behind you. The venue has an exclusive caterer, Linwoods Restaurant, and the venue provides the bar packages. For Friday or Sunday events, you may use a different caterer and provide your own alcohol, though.

The Inn at Perry Cabin is a luxury resort with many amenities for your guests to enjoy. There are several ceremony locations to choose from, including waterfront and garden-side. (Yes, the infamous Wedding Crashers wedding was filmed here!) In the case of inclement weather, you can be married inside their ballroom. For smaller events, they now have a wooden structural tent onsite, perfect for an intimate wedding or rehearsal dinner. The wedding day tent is erected over by the gardens or water-side by Eastern Shore Tents and the catering is provided by the Inn at Perry Cabin's stellar culinary team.

Continuing with St Michaels' wedding venues, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum offers several locations for your wedding. From the boat shed, to ceremony by the pavilion or waterfront and a tented reception along the water, this venue is perfect for a whimsical, coastal wedding vibe! A bonus is being able to charter one of their sailboats for gorgeous sunset photos on the water.

Brittland Estates is situated in Chestertown, along the Chester River. It's a private manor home, that can house around 40 guests for the wedding weekend! There are several locations for your ceremony, including down by the water or the garden areas. Cocktail hour occurs around the pool with the water in the distance and the reception tent is setup on the brick patio (no grass!). The venue is flexible with catering selection and you may provide your own alcohol. Eastern Shore Tents is their exclusive tent provider, with options for lovely sailcloth or clear top tents.
Whitehall is located in Annapolis (before crossing the Bay Bridge)-- a plus for those looking to get married us the USNA or St Mary's! It has expansive waterfront grounds with several option locations for a ceremony and the tent. The venue uses an exclusive tent provider, Honeywood Rentals, and has numerous approved caterers. There is no onsite lodging as the manor itself is only for getting ready purposes and photos. But, if you're staying in downtown Annapolis, it's only a 15-minute shuttle ride to the venue.
