Romantic Fall DAR Wedding

Mary and Kyle's fall wedding at DAR was perfection! From a splendid 70 degree day, to beautiful and whimsical florals, and a rockin' dance floor outside on the portico, it was a day to remember!

With their 90 guest count, DAR was the perfect venue size-wise for their wedding. The ceremony was situated on the terrace with the Washington Monument as a backdrop. Guests then enjoyed cocktail hour around the stately white bar with their crest affixed to it, and dined inside the gallery. The sweetheart table was setup in front of the fireplace mantle, and the ceremony florals were repurposed perfectly around them as though they were sitting within a bed of flowers! One of our favorite details was the two tier wedding cake that was also nestled within a garden of florals surrounding it. Congratulations to this sweet couple!
