Romantic Meridian House Wedding

Kate and Ryan came to SRS Events wanting to plan a chic and classic affair in Washington DC. We helped them through the venue selection process and they ended up selecting one of our favorite venues, Meridian House! With its architecture, secret garden, and linden tree grove, it's a hidden gem within the heart of DC. Kate selected a sleek Reem Acra dress, and held a petite teardrop bouquet of bouvardia. Her bridesmaids wore Amsale crepe dresses in a light grey hue that was the perfect complement to their bouquets. The groom had his heart set on a white jacket with velvet slippers to complete his attire. Guests received classic letterpress invitations in the mail, and in their hotel welcome bags, the cutest map of DC with the couple's favorite restaurants and activities highlighted. Since their photographers were leaving before the end of the reception, I suggested the couple have a ribbon wand exit out of the church, and how fun did it turn out?! There's no better feeling that walking out so excitedly with all of your favorite people jubilantly surrounding you. For the reception, we incorporated ice blue taper candles, mix and match China plates, toile printed linens at cocktail hour to create to garden-party vibe Kate envisioned.
